The Fink School of Traditional Art, originating as the Randallstown School of Art in 1965, moved its main studio in Reisterstown in 1995. Director Alan Fink has been painting professionally and teaching for over 35 years. The goal of the school is to provide classical fine art instruction to both beginners and to those who have previously drawn and painted for ages 7 to adult. Instruction is individual within the class and is presented in a relaxed, constructive environment. Students work at their own pace and comfort level, beginning with basic charcoal drawing and progressing into pastels and oils. Portfolio development for all levels from middle school to college is offered on an individual basis.
